Sunflower with Bee

Some of you have already seen the previous pictures of the sunflowers. They were just little bity then. these pictures are from about a month ago. They all grew up and got to be about 7-8 feet tall. Then the drought started. We still watered everyday, but when the heat index is around 110F, it was just baking the sunflowers. They eventually started to turn brown, and we just pulled them out yesterday. I still wanted to post the pictures I took though.

While they were with plenty of water and growing, they were awesome. We had plenty of bees around, so I was definitely hoping for a sunflower seed harvest. Maybe next year.
