The juicer is easy to use, easy to clean, and is small enough to leave on the kitchen counter

This juicer definitely possesses design flaws, but this was a gift and it wasn’t possible for me to return it. Given that, with a few adjustments it works well and meets my needs with minimal inconvenience.
The best thing about this juicer is that it is powerful. When I am cooking or canning I frequently need the juice of a single lemon — this juicer thoroughly handles the job. I never had the same success juicing manually where I found the yield varied widely. This machine impressively removes every drop of juice with minimal effort.
To prevent movement use a left-over scrap or buy a small roll of non-slip shelf liner. Cut-out a small round either the same size or a little bigger than the base of the unit. That step stops the unit from scooting across the counter. Should a consumer be required to take this step? No, it is definitely an engineering issue at Cuisinart, but that flaw is caused by the power of the motor, something good, and the adjustment necessary is minor. I am not troubled by the unpredictable directional change of the juicer as long as the juicer is not moving across the counter.
The other noted problem with the juicer is the short length of its spout — it is decidedly too short, actually ridiculously short. To avoid drips and loss of juice use a thin glass or plastic container. A thick glass container will not work, period.
There is no excuse — a consumer should not be confronted with these types of design flaws when buying a new small appliance, and I hope Cuisinart remedies them because I so appreciate the power of this small juicer. The marketplace doesn’t offer many other alternatives for those of us who do not want to use a big extractor to juice a couple of lemons, so if you are willing to take a few remedial steps you can side-step the problems and end-up with a nice little juicer.

Fresh squeezed Lemonade, orange or grapefruit juice in under a minute, super easy clean up and the fast spin feature is the best to get every last drop!!! Love that the spout goes up to keep from dripping on the counter, wish my Breville thought of that. I have no idea what the negative reviews are about except as one reviewer pointed out, reading the manual may be helpful as it does point out some things that may not be immediately intuitive.

I’ve had this juicer for over a year. We have a citrus orchard so I have an abundance to juice and freeze. I need a really great juicer and with a little common sense in using the powerful Cuisinart, like placing it on a small square of rubberized shelf liner or a damp dish cloth, it works better than any juicer I’ve ever used. The spout could have been designed a little longer, but it presents no problem to me. If the juicer is stabilized, the reversing motion aids a great deal in thoroughly reaming the citrus clean and you end up with a lot of juice. It is very easy to clean, and for me, a joy to use. I highly recommend it — but only if one takes the effort to stabilize the Cuisinart CCJ-100 Citrus Pro Juicer. It cannot merely be set on the counter top and be easily used. I would criticize Cuisinart for not adding that bit of rubberized material to facilitate the use of their machine.

Everything is fine with this product, except, the dish with the holes that squeezed juice and pulp slide in. The shape of this dish is not right. The the lip on the curcumference is an obstacle to clear the dish of pulp every once in a while; it needs to be cleared for the juice to flow through into the receptacle.
