I must say that I totally disagree with universalradio. I am sorry to see how many people were swayed by that review. I, too, have owned and used almost every day for months both the Jack LaLanne Power Juicer and the Juiceman Jr. I have the opposite opinion of the two juicers. I had to leave behind my Power Juicer when I moved, so replaced it with the Juiceman Jr. What a mistake!!! The Juiceman Jr. is so inferior to the Power Juicer! The Juiceman Jr. is difficult to assemble and disassemble, you can’t empty the pulp container without taking it completely apart, often the veggies or fruits being juiced get stuck in on top of the blade assembly and you have to push really hard to get them to juice, it puts out less juice than the Power Juicer, the basket often gets off balance and rubs on the plastic housing causing it to make awful noises and burn the plastic so that it smokes. The design of this juicer is not a good one! I finally broke down and bought another Power Juicer off e-Bay. Good decision!!!! Please, don’t buy this juicer, it is a waste of money!

Got this for dad, he seems to like it, had some juice from it when I was there in May, tasted fine. Cleanup wasn’t too bad either. Seems like a lot of work, but don’t really drink a lot of juice personally.

I have had this juicer for about 2 months and I couldn’t be happier with it. It has a super powerful motor, it juices EVERYTHING, and just really works. I love it!

I just bought this juicer yesterday. But I have used it about 5x times in two days. I got it for 45$ on clearanceJuiceman JM300 Juiceman Jr 2-Speed Juicer at Sears and I have to say, so far I love it. For $45 I have NO complaints, but had I paid market price of $62. 99, I wouldnt be so easy going with this product. So overall its great, but the down side is I dont get as much juice as I had hoped from all fruits and veggies. Most do well but Pears for instance are a waste. Pears seem to puree and you get pear sauce, not juice. Most of the pear ends up in the pulp bucket and some puree drips into the cup. The chute isnt big enough to put whole fruits down, even though its made for it. Small apples and oranges are too big, usually just barely fitting, so you have to cut them in half. The pros are the COST, for sure, and cleaning takes minutes, with the most time spent on the fruit basket. But what is nice, is it comes with a brush that works perfectly for cleaning every piece. Its simple to assemble, and disassemble. I only need to rinse everything with hot/warm water, havent needed to use soap yet. Its not too loud, tolerable for the morning. The catch cup comes with a solid plastic screen that helps to keep the foam from coming out when you pour your delicious juice into a cup.
I found that putting the juicier, softer fruits first followed by the harder ones works best. The harder ones such as apples, cause the most clogs in the screen with their skins. Cucumber works great, beets worked well, celery and carrots all great. The only thing im really disappointed by are pears. Pomegranate worked nice too, but only the seeds I didnt do the whole thing. you have to keep in mind that you will juice whatever you put in their, so dont juice rinds and skins you dont want to taste. Orange rinds are bitter, and pomegranate pith not so good.
Overall I say if you can get this for less than market price, its worth the buy, but if you have the money to spend on something over $70 dollars than try something better. But i recommend comparing products at the store before you buy. Look for something with a bigger fruit basket for a centrifugal juicer, and a larger chute if you decide to not go with this one.

it works with out a problem. Clean up takes some getting used to but it only takes a couple of minutes if you do it right after you are done juicing. Its 2-speed so works great with both hard and soft vegetables and fruits. It has a huge mouth so I never have to cut my carrots or small apples. I think its worth the money.
