I personally am not a big fan of Gazpacho, but it is a perfect recipe for breaking in a food processor:
Gazpacho Recipe
Ingredients
6 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 purple onion, finely chopped
1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, chopped
1 sweet red bell pepper (or green) seeded and chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1-2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
2 Tbsp chopped fresh chives
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 teaspoons sugar
Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
6 or more drops of Tabasco sauce to taste
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (omit for vegetarian option)
4 cups tomato juice
Method
Combine all ingredients. Blend slightly, to desired consistency. Place in non-metal, non-reactive storage container, cover tightly and refrigerate overnight, allowing flavors to blend.
Serves 8.
its great for preparing the ingredients in cole slaw
also make hummus in mine. Hummus is a wonderful thing…
4 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon salt
two 1-pound 3-ounce cans chick-peas, drained and rinsed
2/3 cup well stirred tahini paste
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice, or to taste
1/2 cup olive oil, or to taste
1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves
2 tablespoons pine nuts, toasted lightly
Accompaniment: Toasted Pita Thins
PreparationOn a cutting board mince and mash the garlic to a paste with the salt. In a food processor purée the chick-peas with the garlic paste, the tahini, the lemon juice, 1/4 cup of the oil, and 1/2 cup water, scraping down the sides, until the hummus is smooth and add salt to taste. Add water, if necessary, to thin the hummus to the desired consistency and transfer the hummus to a bowl. In the food processor, cleaned, purée the remaining 1/4 cup oil with the parsley until the oil is bright green and the parsley is minced transfer the parsley oil to a small jar. The hummus and the parsley oil may be made 3 days in advance and kept covered and chilled. Divide the hummus between shallow serving dishes and smooth the tops. Drizzle the hummus with the parsley oil and sprinkle it with the pine nuts. Serve the hummus with the pita.

Make mango chutney to use in hamburgers, to zip up things.
#Remove skin of mango, chop into pieces–1cup.
#Add 1/2tsp salt, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper powder,3tbsp chopped celantro,3cloves garlic.
#Blend & grind to a shred or paste.
# I use this in the mince patties and use as topping too.
soups are made easy in a food processor like brocolli soup. you can also make fresh fruit smoothies by blending some fruit with yogurt or vanilla ice cream.
you can use it to make really good salsa
1 big can diced tomatoes,
1 tsp minced garlic
pinch of salt
2 small jalapeños
1/2 of a small onion
a little bit of cilantro
Roasted veggie dip
Cut zucchini, red onion, red bell pepper into chunks. Brush with olive oil, salt pepper to taste. Bake until nice and soft. Place in food processor with 8 oz. of sour cream (or Tofutti if vegan). Add garlic, salt, pepper, etc. to taste (depending on my mood, I’ll put chili powder). Combine and chill until cold.
Great with pita chips or veggie sticks.
