How did you make the head :U
@mysticfirestarter Works for me…
lol Nice one!!
I was thinking that they might be using sculpted hair in Clone Wars to save rendering space and time and cut down on data processing, CPU loads at their render farms. Is this probably true? I’ve opted for this method for that reason.
Thanks so much! I love your tuts, and I created an entire character using your method and it is superior and faster than any other tutorial I’ve seen out there. Question: I tried your particle hair method and it hogged up alot of memory, and took long time rendering. Is clay sculpted hair easier on CPU time and faster in rendering? I’ve got to render alot of frames ’cause i want to make a movie.
NOTHING WORKS ON THIS TUTORIAL
when i press shift d nothing happens
It was a nice tut M8 Thanx 4 sharing!
@BxBOYxDR4GO Ahahahahahaha
LoL he lives with yours Lmao
no i’m living with YOUR mother
l.o.l u living with ur mother
Great job! Thanks for providing this tutorial
looks amazing, did u also use blender to make the head model?
Another great one. Thanks Dave.
Could anyone reccomend a tutorial online on how to sculpt a nice clay model head like the one in this video? thanks in advance
this is a great tutorial!
This is a very nice Tutorial, it helped me a lot, seriously, thx for posting
it looks like something in a tim burton movie.
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Tutorial! Thank you sooo much! 5 stars:-)
easiest way to make corn rows lol
Wow… nice computer. Never saw blender rendering so fast before.
great tutorial, how would you add physics to the hair though, to make it bouncy and wavy, like maybe a breeze comes by or something. This may seem like a dumb question but im new to blender and 3d modeling in general =/
another idea could be giving the hair a texture like you do when you texture an eyeball: start a new scene add a plane and hair on that plane model the hair a bit and add some randomness to it then render it as a picture and use it on the hair (maybe use some bump-maps too i think this way of modelling hair is a great way to make the rendering faster i didn’t try it jet but i think soon i will ^^ maybe to make modelling easyer you could start with low resolution curves and add subsurf later.
if you want the end to be invisible you could (after shrinking the ends) add faces at the ends but thats lots of work
This is great. I was kindda lost on how to make non-particle cartoonish-looking hair for a game model, and this tutorial really helps.
